The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception - Wichita, KS
The Cathedral, built in 1912, serves as the Mother Church of the Diocese of Wichita. The renovation includes repairing the interior of the Cathedral as well as the new artwork and liturgical furnishing that coordinate better with the existing church. A gathering space connects all the buildings on the campus and a direct connection to the Cathedral provides the necessary social space needed without disturbing the church's historic front. The existing gym was renovated, and office spaces were added.
